About the role
Blume Africa is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee procurement operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage
- Proven experience in procurement management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector preferred
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
