About the role

Blume Africa is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee procurement operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing of goods and services
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage
• Proven experience in procurement management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector preferred
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
