About Decimal Decimal is an AI-native services firm for capital markets. We embed with portfolio managers, investment fund managers, exempt market dealers and issuers to build and operate the systems behind investment operations, compliance and corporate governance. We combine capital-markets expertise, product, engineering and delivery in one team. Our systems connect to the technology a firm already uses, carry routine work forward, assemble context and surface exceptions so people can apply their judgment where it matters. Because we operate what we build alongside client teams, live work continually sharpens the system and expands what it can carry. We are building a small, high-agency team around this model. The work crosses traditional boundaries: understanding the operation, designing the system, deploying it and staying accountable for how it performs in practice. About The Role You build the network of people who can thrive in work that crosses software, capital markets and delivery. Decimal needs people who can learn an operation quickly, exercise judgment and stay close enough to production to see whether the work is actually succeeding. You help the founders define each need before it becomes a posting, then find and assess people for both immediate contract work and future roles. The talent pool should become a durable network of engineers, designers, operators, compliance specialists and commercial people whose work we understand and respect. What You'll Do Build the talent map. Develop relationships with strong people across engineering, design, data, compliance, operations and commercial work.Define the need. Work with the founders to turn a real gap in the company into a clear role, engagement or project brief.Assess the work. Evaluate judgment, craft, communication and ownership using evidence from what candidates have actually built or carried.Run a thoughtful process. Keep conversations, interviews and work samples moving at a pace that respects everyone involved.Maintain the relationship. Keep accurate notes, close loops and stay in touch with people who may be right for Decimal later. What You Need Experience recruiting for startups or specialized professional teams, ideally across software, fintech or regulated services.Good judgment about builders and operators whose ability may not fit neatly into a conventional résumé.Direct, considerate written communication with candidates and hiring teams.Comfort designing lightweight processes for contract engagements as well as longer-term hiring.The ability to represent an unusual company model clearly without turning it into recruiting theatre.
