Talent Management Sr Manager
This position is a critical role within the Global Talent Management Center of Excellence (CoE), responsible for leading PepsiCo’s executive development portfolio and serving as a coach for executives.
About the role
The Senior Manager, Talent Management: Executive Development & Succession focuses on personalized executive support and holistic program management through assessment, coaching, designing and administering executive programs, and supporting global talent succession strategies.
Location & Travel
This position is based in one of PepsiCo’s hub locations: Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, or Purchase, NY, with flexibility for occasional remote/work-from-home days. The role involves 10-15% short-duration travel (1-2 days per trip) in North America and limited international travel (1-2 times per year).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner, advisor, coach, assessor, facilitator, program manager, and consultant to executives for their holistic development, including managing developmental action planning and capability/coaching needs.
- Manage and deliver executive assessment programs and succession planning initiatives to meet evolving business needs.
- Write custom executive development reports, conduct research, and support stakeholder and business interventions related to executive talent management.
- Lead enterprise-wide executive development projects, processes, and tools as a subject matter expert.
- Partner with People Function/HR leaders, Talent Acquisition leaders, regional Talent Management teams, and senior business leaders to address executive development needs and provide actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with psychological assessment, leadership development, and executive coaching vendor partners to support new executive assessment design, program management, and continuous improvement.
- Support executive transitions and onboarding for new external hires or internal talent moves.
- Work with the People Operations team to provide a consumer-grade experience with talent systems and technology, including integrating vendor systems for data flow-through, reporting, and analytics.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the executive assessment and development domain, including analysis, design, external research, and program implementation aligned with organizational strategy.
- Manage and administer executive programs and processes, ensuring ongoing validation and effectiveness (ROI, utility, adverse impact).
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of targeted experience in corporate executive development, executive assessment, executive coaching, and/or succession planning.
- 2-3 years of experience managing or supporting executive development or coaching programs at the enterprise level in a large multinational organization.
- High degree of comfort and presence when working with senior and C-suite executives globally.
- ICF Certification preferred.
- Personality assessment certifications preferred (Hogan, OPQ, Insights, DISC).
- Demonstrated expertise in managing talent management and development systems, administering executive programs, and analyzing talent data.
- Strong skills in research, reporting, and stakeholder engagement at the executive level.
Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $123,500 - $206,750. Actual starting salary will consider location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. A performance-based bonus with a target payout of 15% of annual salary is also available.
