Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training. Creates literature and materials for programs and designs exercises to enhance the training experience. Conducts live and web-based classes on safety, installation, maintenance, service, repair, and technical communications. Reports training outcomes and areas needing focus to the training team and managers.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs, develops, and delivers sustainable strategic training and instructional programs using instructor-led, train-the-trainer, electronic/web-based, and/or multimedia training methods.
  • Participates in the design, development, and implementation of training programs of broad organizational scope.
  • Conducts needs assessments to identify and evaluate training requirements for high-impact technical training.
  • Conducts or facilitates general or specific technology training programs.
  • Develops training materials including handbooks, job aids, models, multimedia visual aids, computer and web-based tutorials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Researches and studies advancements in educational technologies and methods; evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs using appropriate data collection instruments.
  • Recommends and/or implements innovative solutions, modifications, and enhancements to technology training programs.
  • Consults with cross-functional project teams, leaders, and/or stakeholders.
  • Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced analytical, business acumen, and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to interpret educational needs and develop effective instructional solutions.
  • Working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training plans, curricula, and methodology.
  • Proficient in productivity tools including Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Skilled in presenting ideas in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Project management and presentation skills with the ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on rapport building, listening, and delivering effective training programs.
  • Ability to consult with stakeholders to offer technological and organizational feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to train adult learners required.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a complex environment.

Working Conditions

  • Remote/office from home.
  • 30% average travel; certain seasons and projects may require more or less travel.
  • Moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 60 lbs and extended periods of walking and standing.
  • Work is normally performed in an office or classroom environment with occasional fieldwork.

Minimum experience: 2+ years. Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree.
