Fluidstack · New York, NY · 2 wk ago
On-siteEngineering$170k–$250k/yrFull-time

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Team at Fluidstack is dedicated to building the best team for the future of AI. They are responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent across various business units and technical domains. The ideal candidate will lead and scale a talent acquisition function, ensuring that Fluidstack remains competitive in attracting and retaining the best engineers and operators.

Responsibilities

  • Own hiring strategy, execution, and tracking of Fluidstack's Product and Engineering org.
  • Build the annual delivery plan while staying hands-on closing critical searches yourself.
  • Partner directly with senior hiring managers to forecast headcount, map talent needs, and align hiring strategy to business objectives.
  • Lead and scale a team of TA Partners, Sourcers, and Coordinators with clear direction and performance accountability.
  • Design hiring processes that balance speed with candidate quality, and drive technical recruitment for specialized, hard-to-fill roles to high offer-acceptance rates.
  • Own hiring metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion, offer acceptance) and use the data to improve outcomes, and build the recruiting infrastructure: ATS workflows, interview rubrics, and calibration.

Requirements

You have 5+ years in engineering and product hiring in a hyper-growth environment. You lead a team and set strategy but stay in the work. You take the hard searches, model great execution, and don't delegate your way out of accountability. You know the difference between competent and exceptional and won't compromise on it, for your team's hires or your own. Every hire raises the average. You build for the year but can lead quick pivots. You anticipate hiring needs and map talent landscapes so your team never starts a critical role from zero. You measure what matters (pipeline conversion, source quality, time-to-hire) and use it to manage performance and make decisions. You give clear, honest feedback and build trust by being straight with your team, not easy on them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience leading a TA function through rapid headcount growth.
  • Experience in immigration and global mobility coordination.
  • Experience in employer brand building.

Skills
