We help job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries. Our workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers, and community partner sites.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual assessments to provide career guidance and counseling to job seekers, with a focus on those who are WIOA eligible.
  • Provide detailed case management for each customer to assist in preparation for employment that leads to self-sufficiency.
  • Assist customers in maintaining eligibility for services by ensuring attendance at required training, activities, workshops, and performing job searches.
  • Authorize and coordinate supportive services such as childcare, transportation, and track obligations of funds.
  • Maintain existing contacts with community resources and develop new ones to further the goals of the program and ensure customer success.
  • Provide labor market information to all customers.
  • Ensure contract deliverables and individual goals are met.
  • Outreach to employers, agencies, non-profits, and organizations to place eligible participants in subsidized employment activities.
  • Follow up on participant progress in subsidized employment activities and submit payroll information.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on the progress of the NDW program, expenditures, and participants' employment and support services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Associate's degree preferred).
  • At least one year of Sales/Customer Service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in individual or group settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong speaking and organizational/time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be detail-oriented and timely in meeting deadlines, goals, and objectives.
  • Ability to address and solve customer inquiries and/or concerns.
  • Ability to conduct Workshops/Orientations.
  • Current driver’s license (with low-risk driver rating) and automobile liability insurance.
