Talent Consultant (Strategic HRBP)
About the role
Talent Consultants at U.S. Bank lead and execute enterprise and business line talent strategies by integrating recruiting, talent development, learning, retention, engagement, and organizational development. This VP-level role supports Investment Services, consulting with senior leaders on organizational design, serving as talent coaches, and acting as culture champions with a focus on inclusion. The role leverages workforce data and predictive analytics to drive decision-making aligned with business metrics and objectives. Talent Consultants partner with Human Resource Centers of Excellence (COEs), Employee Services, and HR Strategy and Operations to execute their charter.
Responsibilities
- Consult with senior leaders on organizational design and effectiveness.
- Serve as talent coaches to senior leaders and act as culture champions with a focus on inclusion.
- Leverage workforce data and predictive analytics to improve decision-making and support business objectives.
- Partner with HR COEs, Employee Services, and HR Strategy and Operations to plan and execute talent strategies.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and recommend actions.
- Develop employee-centric solutions using strong analytical, business, and financial acumen.
- Build relationships with business leaders and present insights to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10 or more years of human resources, business, or managerial experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Thorough knowledge of HR disciplines/COEs and operational workflows.
- Ability to analyze data, recognize trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to anticipate issues and develop employee-centric solutions.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in building relationships with business leaders and presenting to senior leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Location Expectations
This role requires three or more days per week onsite at the listed U.S. Bank hub location.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $126,820.00 - $149,200.00, based on the primary location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
