Talent Business Partner
About the role
The Talent Business Partner at Riverstone Logistics is responsible for the full lifecycle of the recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs and sourcing top candidates to fostering employee development and retention. This role requires exercising discretion and independent judgement with respect to recruitment and ongoing talent initiatives across all departments within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Create and publish job postings
- Conduct interviews
- Sources candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks, and through referrals
- Coordinate interviews with Hiring Managers and candidates
- Advise senior leadership on outcomes of reporting and analytics around retention, turnover, organizational structures, hiring manager feedback, and other key indicators of the health of their organization
- Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until completion of the onboarding process
- Follow up with candidates to ensure offer acceptance and provide necessary information for their transition
- Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates when needed
- Collaborate with senior leadership to address performance concerns and ensure alignment with company goals
- Support the onboarding experience to ensure seamless integration into Riverstone
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Work experience as an In-house Recruiter
- Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment
- Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Strong interviewing skills and familiarity with various interview techniques (like video or panel interviews)
- Experience with social media recruiting
- Understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies
- Exceptional project and personnel management skills
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Act as an ambassador for Riverstone by living out our purpose and core beliefs in all communication with candidates, hiring managers, and coworkers
Work closely with senior leaders to ensure streamlined communication regarding staffing levels within their microenterprise/service center
Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire, and time to fill and report out to leadership monthly
Evaluate possible courses of action and make decisions related to recruitment processes
Advise senior leadership on outcomes of reporting and analytics around retention, turnover, organizational structures, hiring manager feedback, and other key indicators of the health of their organization
Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until completion of the onboarding process
Source candidates on job boards, resume databases, professional networks and through referrals
Conduct thorough phone screens for all candidates in assigned requisitions and report feedback to hiring managers and Directors
Cook up interviews with Hiring Managers and candidates and ensure all requested feedback is received post-interview
Draft and send personalized offer letters to candidates selected for positions, ensuring clarity on compensation, benefits, and start dates
Follow up with candidates to ensure offer acceptance and provide necessary information for their transition
Coordinate the onboarding process for new Extra Milers in conjunction with the Extra Miler Experience Specialist, ensuring they have all necessary documents, access to training materials, and introductions to the team
Collaborate with senior leadership to address performance concerns and ensure alignment with company goals
