Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcer)

Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs, proactively identifying strategic recruiting solutions. This role manages the recruitment process for assigned business units, focusing on tapping into new sourcing resources and recruiting diverse, high-value candidates. The specialist will engage in tactical and strategic sourcing, execute recruitment strategies, and participate in projecting future employment needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for all open positions in assigned business units.
• Identify and utilize new sourcing resources and proactive techniques to recruit diverse, high-value candidates.
• Engage in tactical and strategic sourcing to help business units proactively source and place top talent.
• Screen, interview, and test candidates while serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers.
• Participate in projecting future employment needs, creating recruitment plans, and improving the employment process.
• Lead projects and manage a high load of positions, including hard-to-fill roles in critical areas.

Education

HS Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.

Experience

• Two years of Human Resources experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Recruitment experience strongly preferred, especially in Corporate, Health Plans, or Healthcare sectors.
• Candidates within the Hampton Roads geographic footprint (within 50 miles of 1330 Sentara Park, Virginia Beach) are strongly preferred to attend recruitment events.
• Previous experience organizing and hosting virtual and in-person recruitment events, with ability to travel to events.
• Experience building Talent Pools and using CRM tools to build talent pipelines.

Pay

The base pay range for full-time employment is $68,598.40 - $103,396.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
