About The Opportunity

Kelley Kronenberg is adding a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Lateral Partner Recruiter to its Human Resources team in Fort Lauderdale. Day to day, you’ll run full-cycle recruiting for staff and support positions across the Firm; while also being integral to a high-impact piece of our growth strategy: identifying and building relationships with lateral partners, of-counsel attorneys, and small firm owners who could be a fit to join Kelley Kronenberg. It’s a role that blends traditional recruiting with real strategic sourcing, and gives you visibility into how the Firm grows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for Firm staff roles, from reviewing applications and screening candidates to keeping a strong pipeline moving.
  • Partner with Business Unit Leaders to define hiring needs and build accurate, compelling job postings.
  • Source candidates through networking, referrals, social platforms, and other creative channels.
  • Represent the Firm at job fairs and recruiting events, and help shape a positive candidate experience from first contact through offer.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with lateral partners, of-counsel attorneys, and small firm owners who may be a fit for a lateral hire or firm/group acquisition.
  • Research and map firms and attorneys with portable books of business in target practice areas and markets.
  • Work directly with the Managing Partner and practice group leaders to shape lateral and acquisition strategy, managing sensitive outreach and early conversations with discretion.
  • Maintain a dedicated pipeline for lateral and acquisition opportunities, separate from standard recruiting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience managing the full recruitment and hiring cycle.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging candidates at every level, including senior attorneys and firm owners.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential conversations professionally.
  • Comfort with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
