About the role
Certified Group is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team, supporting high-volume hiring across our laboratory operations throughout North America. This role focuses on recruiting and building talent pipelines for direct labor positions, including Laboratory Technicians, Analysts, Sample Management, Couriers, and other operational roles critical to our business.

You will partner closely with hiring managers and site leaders to understand workforce needs, execute effective sourcing strategies, and deliver a positive candidate experience while meeting hiring goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for high-volume laboratory and operational positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.
- Partner with hiring managers and site leadership to understand staffing needs, hiring priorities, and workforce challenges.
- Recruit for direct labor roles including Laboratory Technicians, Analysts, Sample Management Specialists, Couriers, and other laboratory support positions.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support ongoing hiring needs across multiple laboratory locations.
- Conduct high-volume candidate outreach, phone screens, and qualification assessments to identify candidates who align with role requirements and company values.
- Manage candidate activity and recruitment workflows within Greenhouse ATS, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to improve recruitment processes, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance the overall candidate experience.
- Provide market insights related to talent availability, compensation trends, and recruiting challenges.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and attract qualified candidates.
- Track recruiting metrics including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring progress.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain consistent recruiting practices.
- Represent Certified Group with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm throughout all candidate interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success managing high-volume hiring.
- Experience recruiting hourly/direct labor positions in laboratory, manufacturing, healthcare, food testing, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments preferred.
- Proven ability to source and attract candidates in competitive labor markets.
- Experience utilizing recruiting tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, Greenhouse ATS, or similar applicant tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and recruiting best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions, priorities, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule
- This role must be based in the US near any major airport.
- Up to 20% travel may be required for hiring events, career fairs, site visits, and team meetings.
Pay
Salary Range: $70,000 USD - $80,000 USD. Actual pay within this range may vary depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Additional components of total rewards—such as bonuses, benefits, or incentives—may also apply where applicable.
