About the role

DAC is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract) to drive the vision and execution of all aspects of the talent acquisition function. This role will provide content expertise for company-wide staffing efforts, including processes, systems, and tools, with a focus on managing specific staffing throughout North America. The position involves leading senior and strategic searches, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and enhancing the company’s employment branding.

Responsibilities

  • Source, attract, select, and hire top talent in the market while ensuring staffing needs align with long-term strategy.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, including job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, and talent pipeline building.
  • Drive recruitment activities to meet key performance metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, and candidate quality.
  • Assess current and future staffing needs against business strategy and develop talent acquisition plans.
  • Leverage recruiting and selection processes to improve efficiency, quality of hires, and candidate experience.
  • Develop and oversee innovative sourcing strategies to attract talent from non-traditional and diverse talent pools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to evolve the company’s employment branding strategy and tools.
  • Define, track, and report key hiring metrics; analyze data to identify process improvements.
  • Manage external staffing vendors and processes for resume/applicant submission.
  • Provide training to hiring managers on effective interviewing and recruitment practices.
  • Participate in projects to support the attraction of top talent and uphold DAC’s core values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
  • In-depth experience sourcing active and passive candidates using social media, search engines, and job boards.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws within jurisdictions where DAC operates.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, project management skills, and ability to manage complexity.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior-level executives.
  • Experience learning, administering, and training others on Applicant Tracking System (ATS) technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Schedule

This role requires three in-office days per week. Remote work is not available for this position.

Pay

The projected total compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, determined by factors including location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational requirements.
