Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage recruiting activities, including placing ads, maintaining accurate records of active job openings and received applications
  • Review applications, conduct and schedule preliminary interviews for internal and external job postings
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events to obtain top talent and build pipelines
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Generate offer letters and process background checks
  • Improve employer branding to attract top talent
  • Maintain and distribute clearance letters for airport badges (new, replacement, and renewals)
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies and hiring processes
  • Conduct daily airport badge audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Decision-Making Authority

Position exercises judgment daily in administering HR programs and providing information to managers and employees. For decisions with potentially significant impact or requiring material deviation from established policy, the position consults the HR Manager as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in the field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and others
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure confidential documents and records
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and UltiPro Systems
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification would be beneficial

Physical Demands

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms
  • May occasionally climb stairs
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

Work Environment

  • Regular, on-site attendance is required
  • Work is primarily in a climate-controlled office building or airport facility with moderate noise level
