Delivery Associate (Job Fair)
Dynamic Transportation and Logistics is a third-party delivery service provider known for exceptional delivery performance, operating out of the delivery warehouse at 9155 Derrington Road.
About the role
As a Delivery Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customers receive their orders on time and safely according to company standards. You will deliver packages daily using Rivian Electric Delivery Vehicles, Ford Transit pickups, Ford Step vans, and cargo vans while providing excellent customer service.
This is challenging physical work that requires the ability to work and excel in all weather conditions. Delivery Associates will deliver between 180 and 250 packages a day with an average of more than 140 stops. You must manage your time well and prioritize safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages safely and on time
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete 180–250 daily deliveries with over 140 stops
- Load delivery vans accurately and safely
- Operate large cargo vans
- Work in all weather conditions
- Be flexible and available to work weekends when scheduled (Saturday and Sunday)
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a criminal background check
- Verification of motor vehicle registration
- Pass a five-panel drug test
- Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Customer-oriented service approach
- Ability to commute to Houston, TX 77064
Schedule
- Flexible and fixed schedules available, operating 7 days a week
- Full-time: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Part-time: 3 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Day shift required
