Responsibilities

  • Pick, stage, and prepare materials for delivery based on work orders or customer requests
  • Load, unload, and transport materials safely using appropriate equipment (dollies, ramps, or hands)
  • Verify order accuracy, including quantities and product condition, prior to delivery
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory and staging areas
  • Guide drivers during tight turns or backing up, help maintain vehicle cleanliness, and complete basic delivery paperwork
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Deliver materials to job sites or customer locations as required
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform site cleanup, shovel materials, dig trenches, or assist trade workers on site
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Complete basic documentation related to deliveries, inventory, and order tracking
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to safely handle and move materials of varying sizes and weights (50-100 lbs)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and professionalism
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Experience in warehouse, delivery, or material handling roles
  • Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with building materials or industrial products
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required
  • Ability to perform work in warehouse, yard, and/or outdoor environments
  • Comfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and equipment operation
  • Ability to work early mornings, extended hours, or travel between locations if required
