Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Proactively source active talent in areas of need to fill roles on-time and prevent disruptions.
  • Conduct phone screens and preliminary interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and alignment with Dyno Nobel's culture and safety-first values.
  • Assist management with internal and external recruitment efforts, including requisition approvals, internal postings, external recruiting, interviewing, candidate selection, and job offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers, community organizations, and educational institutions to build talent pipelines, increase awareness of employment opportunities, and support hiring initiatives for the new facility.
  • Represent Dyno Nobel at career fairs, hiring events, community outreach initiatives, and networking opportunities to promote employment opportunities and strengthen the company's presence in local communities.
  • Leverage online tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed for strategic sourcing while delivering on key metrics.
  • Identify new sourcing channels and maintain relationships with job boards, networking organizations, and recruiting partners to expand candidate pipelines.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews of qualified candidates to determine fit for open requisitions.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews, travel arrangements, and communication throughout the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience; manufacturing or defense experience preferred but not required.
  • Self-driven and proactive with a proven ability to develop creative sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines through networking, community outreach, and innovative recruiting methods.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with nearby organizations, schools, and other community groups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
  • Past recruitment and ATS experience required.
