About the role
The Talent Acquisition Partner manages the recruiting process for exempt and non-exempt hires. This position plans and implements recruiting strategies, screens candidates, conducts behavioral interviews, negotiates job offers, and oversees post-offer recruitment functions including reference and criminal background checks. The recruiter will attend job fairs and assist with recruitment special projects. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement recruiting strategies for exempt and non-exempt hires
- Screen candidates and conduct behavioral interviews
- Negotiate job offers and oversee post-offer functions (reference and criminal background checks)
- Attend job fairs and assist with recruitment special projects
- Provide quality customer service and support performance improvement efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience is required
- 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably within a hospital function
- Knowledge of computer applications and/or data entry experience
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to function independently
Work Environment
- Potential exposure to hazards and risks of the hospital environment, including infectious disease and hazardous substances
- Primarily desk/computer work with requirements for visual acuity and manual dexterity for data entry
This position reports to the Human Resources Manager at the Mainland Campus and for the Business Units.
