About the role

The START Center for Cancer Research (“START”) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead talent-sourcing efforts and full-cycle recruitment for roles within our Phase One business unit. This role also collaborates with the talent acquisition teams to enhance and implement best practices and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and optimizing the overall talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to attract and recruit top talent, building strong relationships to understand recruitment needs and gain in-depth knowledge of departmental business objectives, short- and long-term talent requirements, operations, and culture.
  • Take a proactive approach to building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline, using networking and social media to connect with high-quality candidates.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to offer negotiation through clear, effective, and service-oriented communication.
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to reduce reliance on external agencies, leveraging market insights to optimize search processes.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and practices and adapt approaches to enhance candidate attraction and selection.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, providing hiring managers with regular updates and insights to improve decision-making and streamline hiring process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years of full-cycle Recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in talent acquisition within a pharmaceutical, CRO, biotech and/or healthcare environment.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Pay

The annual base salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. However, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
