About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Partner owns the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake meetings and sourcing strategy through candidate selection, offer management, and transition to onboarding. They play a critical role in attracting, engaging, and hiring mission-aligned talent across the organization, by executing recruiting strategies, partnering with hiring managers, sourcing and screening candidates, strengthening the candidate experience, and maintaining a strong talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs.
This individual will leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking opportunities, and relationship-building efforts to identify and engage top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support the development of, and execute a recruiting strategy to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Maintain recruiting workflows and candidate records within the ATS.
- Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, job boards, and industry associations.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and future hiring needs.
- Develop relationships with passive candidates and nurture long-term recruiting connections.
- Occasionally attend networking events, career fairs, and industry functions as appropriate.
- Candidate Screening & Interviewing
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with HR Specialists for initial interview screenings.
- Assess candidate qualifications, experience, culture fit, and mission alignment.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Gather interview feedback and assist hiring managers with candidate evaluations.
- Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Represent Caring Network professionally throughout the recruitment process.
- Promote the organization's mission, culture, and employment opportunities through candidate interactions and social media engagement.
- Ensure all candidates receive timely communication and a positive recruitment experience, partnering with the HR Specialist to ensure a smooth transition from hiring to onboarding.
Recruitment Metrics & Reporting
- Track and improve time to fill and sourcing effectiveness.
- Monitor LinkedIn InMail response rates, candidate conversion metrics, and other recruiting KPIs.
- Use recruiting data to improve hiring outcomes and sourcing strategies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church.
- Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion.
- Agrees with and is willing to uphold Caring Network's Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, and Core Values.
- 3-5 years of recruiting, sourcing and talent acquisition, university degree preferred.
- Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms required.
- Experience working with BambooHR preferred.
- Experience recruiting for multiple disciplines including administrative, professional, leadership, ministry, and healthcare roles preferred.
- Proven ability to build and manage candidate pipelines.
- Strong organizational, interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in Spanish a plus.
- Must be able to work onsite in Glen Ellyn office, IL, and attend occasional meetings and events at off-site locations.
- Open to some remote work.
