Talent Acquisition Partner
About the role
NSF is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to partner with all levels of the organization across various divisions. As a key member of the HR team, you will support the success and growth of a complex organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned open positions, including identifying recruiting resources, sourcing, prescreening, and qualifying candidates.
- Provide a diverse pool of qualified candidates to hiring managers, develop interview questionnaires, interview final candidates, conduct reference checks, and extend job offers.
- Post job openings through ATS, LinkedIn, and other resources as needed.
- Actively source candidates and connect with passive talent using creative networks and recruiting tools.
- Build relationships and influence internal customers.
- Provide hiring managers with effective screening, interviewing, and selection techniques.
- Coordinate candidate interviews via MS Teams and travel to interviews as necessary.
- Maintain interview tracking systems and reports on current openings and positions filled.
- Establish and maintain relationships with university/college placement resources, industry-related resources, direct placement, and temporary recruiting agencies.
- Support overall recruiting strategies, policies, practices, and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of recruiting/hiring experience (staffing or HR corporate level).
- Experience with recruiting in the scientific, food, water, and/or technical industries.
- Online/trade publication job posting experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of interviewing techniques.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
- Excellent sourcing skills utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.
- Proficiency in MS Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days per week in the Ann Arbor, MI headquarters.
