Partner with company hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the workforce and recruit the best talent for current and upcoming opportunities. Nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage ongoing manager relationships across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and prospective talent to build the reputation and skills of a true Talent Acquisition Business Partner; guide and coach hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and applicants are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their business and recruitment needs, including long-term talent pipelining needs, and fill open positions in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process for identified roles, partnering with leaders across the organization for exempt and non-exempt positions; manage candidates through the entire interview and hiring process, from assessing qualifications to negotiating offers.
  • Effectively utilize and maintain all pertinent application, interview documentation, and data in the applicant tracking system.
  • Develop recruitment strategies using internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, campaigns, internal transfers, and other channels to attract a diverse pool of candidates using cost-effective methods; partner with the marketing team as needed.
  • Support TA special projects such as the employee referral program, third-party staffing agency program, campus recruiting (including high schools, colleges, and trade schools), or recruitment marketing projects.
  • Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects.
  • Assist in meeting affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity recruitment goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a prior recruiting or talent acquisition role.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior leadership or coaching experience (school, sports, volunteer activities, or workplace experience).
  • Prior experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with senior-level executives, hiring managers, and candidates.
  • Capable of handling extremely confidential and sensitive information.
  • Self-starter with a curious mindset, capable of assessing situations and prospective talent to identify potential job matches.
  • Ability to work within a team environment with a collaborative approach and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled at multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent ability to learn and follow recruitment-related compliance regulations.
  • Ability to source resumes from multiple sources and conduct internet research preferred.
  • Good understanding of the recruitment cycle from start to end.
  • Proficient computer skills (including MS Office/Word/Outlook) and skilled with web-based software and social media platforms.
  • Occasional travel for career fairs and other recruiting efforts may be required.

Pay

Salary: $60,000–$85,000 per year, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith; MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
