About the Role

Brooks Safety Solutions is seeking an experienced Corporate Recruiter to build and enhance our talent acquisition function during an exciting period of growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the CHRO, this role will lead full-cycle recruiting while partnering closely with business leaders to develop recruiting strategies, improve hiring processes, strengthen our employment brand, and optimize our recruiting technology. This is an opportunity to build a modern recruiting function—not simply fill open positions.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for corporate, operational, professional, and leadership positions across multiple business units.
    • Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
    • Build and maintain pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
    • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and realistic hiring plans.
    • Provide market intelligence, salary trends, and competitive hiring insights to business leaders.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy
    • Help develop and implement Brooks Safety Solutions' talent acquisition strategy.
    • Improve recruiting workflows, service levels, and hiring manager experience.
    • Create consistent interview processes and selection practices.
    • Develop recruiting metrics and dashboards to measure effectiveness.
    • Recommend and implement continuous improvements to recruiting operations.
  • Employer Branding
    • Partner with HR and Marketing to strengthen the company's employment brand.
    • Enhance career site content, job advertisements, and social media recruiting efforts.
    • Promote Brooks Safety Solutions as an employer of choice across multiple markets.
    • Develop strategies to increase candidate engagement and referral activity.
  • Recruiting Technology & Process Improvement
    • Serve as the primary recruiting subject matter expert for Paycom's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Optimize Paycom workflows, reporting, automation, candidate communications, and user experience.
    • Evaluate current recruiting tools and identify opportunities to leverage additional technologies that improve sourcing, candidate engagement, scheduling, and recruiting analytics.
    • Recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and scalability as the organization continues to grow through acquisitions.
  • Business Partnership
    • Build trusted relationships with leaders across the organization.
    • Consult with managers on hiring strategy, workforce planning, and talent market conditions.
    • Coach hiring managers on interviewing best practices, candidate evaluation, and selection decisions.
    • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure recruiting practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Coordinate background checks, pre-employment drug screening, and onboarding activities.
    • Maintain accurate recruiting documentation and reporting.

Requirements

  • Required
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience.
    • Experience recruiting professional, technical, operational, and leadership positions.
    • Experience partnering directly with business leaders and hiring managers.
    • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably Paycom or another enterprise ATS.
    • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting platforms.
    • Excellent interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Preferred
    • Experience helping build or transform a talent acquisition function.
    • Experience supporting organizations experiencing rapid growth or acquisitions.
    • Experience developing employer branding initiatives.
    • Knowledge of recruiting analytics and recruiting technology.
