This is a temporary opportunity expected to last 4-6 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs. The role will focus on recruiting Survey and Geospatial professionals within the AEC industry and supporting critical hiring initiatives.

Purpose

Assist in determining business recruitment needs and develop sourcing strategies to attract candidates. Develop connections with candidates, management, and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Receive general instruction on key objectives for execution. Receive direction as needed, and especially complex assignments, modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria. Work is completed using advanced techniques and principles and is reviewed by more senior staff to ensure application of sound professional judgement. Review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
  • Assist with the marketing of the firm's capabilities to establish new clients and enhance relationships.
  • Exhibit passion for all facets of recruiting.
  • Assist HR Business Partners in defining internal role and obtain job clarity.
  • Source candidate leads, identify, screen, interview, and close candidates in a highly competitive marketplace.
  • Participate is discovering strategic insight and input to continually evolve the effective use of defined metrics for recruiting.
  • Provide timely, accurate and meaningful measurement tools to effectively gauge success of placements, ability to meet annual hiring and diversity goals, and qualify internal client satisfaction.
  • Network and build long-lasting relationships with key candidate communities for short/long-term staffing opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key organizational business policy and project initiatives and industry competitors.
  • May participate in college recruitment program.
  • Assist hiring managers to understand current and anticipate future hiring needs.
  • Participate in managing and leveraging social media to generate candidate pipeline.
  • Work in partnership with others in the organization to create and promote Bowman's employment brand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5+) years of experience conducting full cycle recruiting in a technical environment specifically with hiring engineers, designers, and project managers.
  • Prior experience recruiting in AEC industry is highly desired.
  • Ability to manage an average of 30 plus open positions at any given time.
  • Experience in developing strategies to identify and attract passive candidates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with internet browser applications (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome).
  • Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS; experience with UKG and iCMS strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of EEO legislation, OFCCP compliance in relation to recruitment and employment requirements, and other applicable staffing laws.

Pay

Range $63,500 - $79,000.
