About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to design, execute, and continuously evolve a comprehensive company-wide talent acquisition strategy. This leader will serve as a trusted partner to line of business leaders, ensuring talent strategies align with the bank’s strategic plans, culture, and long-term workforce needs. The role involves building and leading a high-performing recruitment function that attracts, assesses, and hires top talent across all business lines while ensuring an engaging and inclusive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a scalable, company-wide talent acquisition strategy in partnership with HR leadership and key stakeholders, aligned with the bank’s business strategy, growth plans, and workforce requirements.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and a strong service mindset.
  • Create and foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Establish clear operating models, governance, and performance metrics (time to fill, quality of hire, diversity outcomes, cost effectiveness, candidate experience) to ensure consistent, high-quality recruiting outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of market and internal data to anticipate talent risks, inform workforce planning, and guide decision-making.
  • Act as a credible ambassador of the bank’s employer brand and culture while serving as the primary talent acquisition partner for specific lines of business.
  • Oversee end-to-end recruiting operations, including workforce planning, sourcing, selection, offer management, and onboarding, seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with all applicable employment laws, banking regulations, and internal risk standards.
  • Partner with Marketing and HR Communications to develop compelling messaging and outreach strategies, strengthening the bank’s employer brand.
  • Build strategic relationships with external partners, including executive search firms, universities, professional associations, and community organizations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of general human resources experience, with at least five years in recruiting.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong management, coaching, and development skills.
  • Experience leveraging applicant tracking systems and other recruiting technologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience with Workday.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages the First Financial Bank recruitment team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to see, hear, walk, talk, sit, stand, and drive.
  • Operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed.
  • Travel to FFB locations as required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Pay

$107,000/year - $142,760/year
