Talent Acquisition Manager
Oversight of all facets of recruiting and hiring in alignment with company values, culture, and overall strategy as an employer of choice. This includes team supervision, employer branding, and the full-cycle recruitment process. Programs must be maintained and compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), state laws, and Allegiant’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manages a team of five or more Talent Acquisition Partners including hiring, performance coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Leads the implementation, automation, and operation of Talent automated data systems and other related programs dynamic to Allegiant.
- Partners with hiring Managers, Directors, and VPs to forecast and coordinate hiring needs.
- Serves as subject matter expert to numerous People Services disciplines during the recruitment process: Benefits/Insurance/Medical Plans/401K, People Services issues (ADA/Affirmative Action/EEOC/Drug & Alcohol Program), training programs, Allegiant statistics, and features of the position, company, and geographic area.
- Supervises the full life cycle of talent acquisition including recruiting, sourcing, pipeline development, college/intern/fellow programs, selection, offer negotiations, on-boarding, and off-boarding while collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Leads the development and execution of the Employee Referral Program and social media presence.
- Coaches Hiring Managers on requisition design, recruitment strategies, hiring decisions, compensation considerations, and job offer negotiation strategies.
- Collaborates with Compensation to identify and correctly position pay rates and potential conflicts in department salary structures.
- Creates and delivers training for Hiring Managers on interview and selection skills.
- Identifies, develops, and monitors talent acquisition metrics, quality controls, and processes to determine effectiveness.
- Acts as point of escalation for the department and resolves issues as necessary.
- Acts as system administrator/vendor relationship manager for UKG Pro, ATS, CRM, and other recruitment software tools.
- Serves as subject matter expert for Allegiant Travel Company career site content and edits.
- Builds collaborative relationships at all levels.
- Manages assigned requisitions and/or programs as assigned.
- Demonstrates understanding, support, and contributes to the People Services Culture by embodying it in all interactions.
- Holds Team Members accountable for embodying the People Services Culture and customer service standards.
- Models Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and leadership direction.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986.
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- SHRM and/or HRCI certification within six months of hire.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Senior Recruiter focused on hard-to-fill roles such as Finance, IT, Engineering.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as supervisor with a major corporation (5000+ Team Members).
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with creating pipelines via LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
- Experience in conducting training, including creating, overseeing, and delivering on-the-job training for a team of Talent Acquisition Partners.

- Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
- Essential Services Provider - Allegiant as a national air carrier is deemed an essential service provider during declared national and state emergencies. Team Members will be required to report to their assigned trip or work location during such emergencies unless prohibited by local, state, or federal order.
Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
