Talent Acquisition Intern (Global Functions) - 2027 Summer

About the role

The Global Functions Talent Acquisition team attracts, assesses, and hires top-tier talent for TikTok's global functions - including Legal, Public Policy, Brand & Communications, and Global Security - partnering with hiring leaders to understand their needs and build teams that can keep pace with a fast-growing business. The work is both strategic and hands-on: we balance data-driven decision-making, and a high-quality candidate experience across regions and time zones, while navigating highly specialized, often hard-to-fill roles that require deep market knowledge and strong cross-cultural judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support candidate sourcing through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking platforms.
• Review resumes and identify qualified candidates based on role requirements.
• Create and maintain market mappings, competitor analysis and general industry insights.
• Cover interview scheduling between candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Aid in preparing recruitment reports, dashboards, and market insights to support hiring decisions.
• Ensure timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the interview process.
• Partner with recruiters to deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience.
• Support additional recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of 3–6 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Recruiting Operations, Consulting, or a technology company.
• An analytical mindset with experience using data, dashboards, or reporting to support decision-making.
• An interest in recruiting, employer branding, and talent strategy within a global organization.
