Talent Acquisition & Engagement Specialist

About the role

The Talent & Engagement Specialist plays a hands‑on role in shaping how employees and candidates experience Camden, from hiring through engagement and day‑to‑day support. This role, primarily focused on recruiting, blends full‑cycle recruiting and engagement initiatives with exposure to broader workforce planning and culture work.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle recruiting for banking center and corporate roles, partnering closely with hiring leaders
• Contribute to onboarding, engagement, recognition, and well‑being initiatives
• Use data and insights to improve recruiting and engagement outcomes
• Support HR projects and organization‑wide initiatives that strengthen culture and performance

Requirements

• 3–5 years of HR experience, with recruiting and employee relations exposure, or someone eager to learn the HR function, while leveraging their banking experience
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
• Sound judgment, empathy, and discretion
• HRIS/ATS experience
• Willingness to travel regionally as needed is required, as well as a minimum of 1 day per week in our Camden, Maine office.
• PREFERRED: HR certification, Workday experience, regulated‑industry experience, or exposure to engagement and well‑being programs.
