About the role
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to deliver a world-class experience for candidates and hiring leaders. This role primarily supports key searches within the AMS Group, a division of Dover Food Retail, and plays a critical role in sourcing, engaging, and hiring specialized professional talent.
Responsibilities
- Directly source, interview, and present highly specialized professional talent.
- Partner with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to assess current and future workforce needs, including job-specific criteria.
- Act as a consultant and single point of contact for Hiring Managers.
- Conduct search engagement (intake) meetings and provide weekly status updates to hiring managers, HR, and Talent Acquisition leadership.
- Assess recruitment risks and challenges, driving resolution to meet goals.
- Leverage external market data, vendors, sourcing channels, and technology to build competitive talent pools.
- Manage the interview process, present qualified candidates, and communicate feedback.
- Recruit cross-functionally and at various organizational levels using tools such as internal applicant tracking systems, job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals, networking, research, cold calling, and job fairs.
- Create a memorable candidate experience by promoting the organization’s employment value proposition.
- Independently interview and evaluate internal and external candidates, referring qualified applicants to hiring managers.
- Conduct debrief meetings with hiring teams on candidate selection.
- Facilitate background checks, drug screens, and onboarding requirements using internal HR systems.
- Maintain relationships with inactive/passive candidates and build a strong talent network.
- Provide ongoing communication to Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders on candidate status and progress.
- Analyze recruiting statistics, maintain reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership.
- Implement employer branding campaigns and attend networking and career development events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of full-life-cycle recruitment experience.
- 2+ years of recruitment experience supporting skilled trades, construction, or manufacturing operations.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience recruiting for multiple locations simultaneously.
- Experience adhering to OFCCP regulations.
- Proficiency in various recruitment sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn, specialty sites, employee referrals, cold calling, job fairs).
- Working knowledge of Internet recruiting technology and solid computer skills.
- Demonstrated success in building credible relationships and proactively partnering with business leaders throughout recruitment.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of current employment laws and legislation.
- Highly effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
