Tagger 1st Shift

About the role

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of the YellaWood brand of pressure-treated pine, is seeking Lumber Taggers for a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials
• Stack and move lumber
• Assist in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun
• Attach product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with a handheld industrial stapler machine
• Check items for proper identification
• Report quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods
• Keep records of inventory and check items for proper identification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous production experience preferred
• Lumber experience a plus
