Tagalog Remote Interpreter

About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) connects clients with world-class interpreting services, offering services to thousands of organizations across the country. This contract position involves 100% over-the-phone interpretation, primarily for medical calls but also for various industries including insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services for clients 24/7 through CLI's online portal or landline telephone.
• Interpret in multiple languages for diverse client needs.
• Meet legal requirements to work in the United States (SSN or EIN and Photo ID required).
• Reside in the United States.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of professional interpreting experience, preferably in Over the Phone Interpreting.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Reside in the United States.
• Pass a language assessment provided by CLI.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in multiple languages.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate 24/7 call volume.

Benefits

• Paid per minute for every minute spent on the phone interpreting.
• Direct deposit for payment twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month.

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis.
