Tactical Security Guard - Loss Prevention

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Guard - Loss Prevention. The position requires at least five years of security experience and must be 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• Work indoor and outdoor in a variable environment.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Detain and search.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (can be obtained during the hiring process).
• Documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Five years of security experience.
• 21+ years of age.
• Baton permit.
• OC spray permit.
• Handcuff permit.
• Current or former military or law enforcement experience encouraged.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Location: Salinas, CA
Set Schedule: Part time, 24 hours per week. Sunday - Tuesday, 5:30pm - 2:00am
