About the role
Join our team and create the future of communications support for Special Operations. Shape the mission by leading Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) integration and evolving systems with advanced technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop systems for TAK Server, ATAK, and WinTAK end user devices, plug-ins, servers, and DoD tactical networks.
- Oversee the integration and support of ATAK, WinTAK, and TAK Server with other client required ecosystems.
- Translate real-world needs into technical specifications and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions.
- Merge TAK and TAK-enabled devices with other industry situational awareness applications to create concepts and solutions.
- Work directly with technical and tactical level users and engineers to translate and communicate technical level requirements with programmatic leadership and government stakeholders and industry partners.
Requirements
- Experience at the operational level with TAK Server, ATAK, or WinTAK end user devices, plug-ins, servers, and DoD tactical networks.
- Knowledge of tactical radio systems such as RF or MANET, cloud integration, and mission command solutions.
- Ability to configure EUDs for use graphic situational awareness and wideband and narrowband radios for communications ecosystem.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience in networking, software development, tactical communications, system administration, geospatial information, or command and control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the above fields.
- Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience in the above fields.
Skills
- Knowledge of how TAK based capabilities integrate with TRAX, Palantir, MCS-COP, and other industry applications.
- Nice if you have: PMP Certification.
Benefits
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits. Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
