Responsibilities
- Safeguards casino assets.
- Implements and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and gaming regulatory requirements.
- Supervises the operation of an assigned number of tables and dealers.
- Responsible for the training and equitable treatment of all Table Games personnel.
- Ensures fills and credits are handled according to policy.
- Promotes outstanding guest relations.
- Affords assistance in answering questions or resolving disputes.
- Creates an atmosphere of fun for all casino guests.
- Encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity with all associates by setting a positive example at all times.
- Instills an atmosphere that encourages associates to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve disputes.
- Retains associates through personal involvement in associate training and development.
- Supports and maintains Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
- Orders for fills and credits slips, key control, markers and customer balance records, table inventory forms, and complimentary rooms, food, beverage.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain Non-Key LA Gaming License and Responsible Vendor Certification.
- Basic knowledge of a Casino Credit system preferred.
- Previous experience in a leadership position preferred.
- Game knowledge/experience of at least two Pit Games required.
- Must possess good communication and customer service skills.
- Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, as well as lie on back to work inside the confines of a slot machine cabinet for long periods of time.
- Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around Pit area and throughout the hotel/casino property.
