Table Games Dealer In Training

Table Games Dealer-In-Training is a program that will help lay the foundation for your future success at GNBX in the Table Games Department. The Training Program is a 6-8 week program. Upon completion, you must pass the audition for a position as a Table Games Dealer.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Deal each game proficiently by the end of the course.
• Adhere to all gaming regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Compute payable odds and pay winning bets.
• Demonstrate hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
• Verify fills and credits to the game.
• Educate guests on the proper rules and procedures of the games.
• Monitor guest play and table action to ensure the integrity of the game and company assets.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Candidates will need to successfully complete 120 hours of training, complete an interview process, and agree to Golden Nugget's Dealer Training Program Terms and Agreement.

Qualifications

• No prior experience needed.
• Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Exemplary guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit upon acceptance into the program.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
