Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter to help attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent that supports our mission and organizational growth.
About the role
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Create and post job advertisements across job boards, social media platforms, and community organizations.
Source passive and active candidates using various recruitment methods.
Conduct phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Maintain accurate applicant records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational hiring policies.
- Career fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment documentation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, workforce development agencies, community organizations, and professional associations.
- Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
- Aid in onboarding activities to ensure a positive new hire experience.
- Prepare recruitment reports and analyze hiring metrics to improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Support additional Human Resources initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- OR 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience recruiting across multiple departments and job levels.
- Strong interviewing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
Qualifications
- Local travel may be required for career fairs and community outreach.
