Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and repeat business by taking guest orders, completing payment transactions, preparing meal orders and maintaining the overall appearance of the deli.
• Take guest order, complete payment transaction using a cash register and make change accurately.
• Prepare meal order in an expeditious manner while adhering to menu and recipe specifications that meet quality controls.
• Prepare and serve espresso drinks.
• Maintain the deli in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition; clean, mop floors, take trash out, wash dishes, etc.
• Maintain logs, checklists and reports.
• Assist with maintaining deli inventory by restocking condiments, utensils, paper products, etc.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED Certificate preferred
• 1 year deli experience preferred
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Basic computer skills required
• Basic math skills required
• Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certificate required
• Current OLCC License required
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available)
