T Mobile Authorized Retailer Assistant Manager

About the role

The Retail Assistant Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team to deliver T‑Mobile’s aspirations of earning a place in our customers’ hearts and Mobile Associate success. Luna Wireless seeks candidates with hustle and ambition for unlimited potential, offering the opportunity to earn unlimited commissions in a fun, fast‑paced environment. Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Infuse every store’s Mobile Associate with a passion for T‑Mobile’s Manifesto by orienting and grounding them to a standard of Loving Our Customers.
• Ensure every customer need is met when they enter the store, building confidence through a comfortable, simple experience and solving the whole problem.
• Complete observations of Mobile Associates’ interactions with customers, including feedback, for use in development, training, and coaching conversations.
• Effectively manage customer wait time.
• Stay current on products, services, and promotions.
• Lead by example, staying up to date on the latest products, services, training, and leadership best practices to remain an expert resource to the team.
• Interact directly with Mobile Associates to ensure they meet and/or exceed defined monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time.
• Assist in maintaining the quality of the overall store environment and adhere to national plan‑o‑gram standards; use visual displays and interactive devices effectively and keep them current.
• Assist in the execution of Retail Methods & Procedures.
• Ensure team knowledge of store systems and corporate/store communications.
• Deliver financial results based on key performance indicators.
• Identify ways to manage and control store expenses; manage discounting and credits.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience (retail environment preferred)
• Available to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lead and mentor people to deliver great results
• Outstanding communicator with ability to interact with teammates and customers
