About the role

Responsibilities
- Identify and initiate resolutions to existing and future client problems and concerns associated with manufacturing technology, including hardware and software, to the client’s satisfaction.
- Support, track, and resolve end-user and operational technology problems through our trouble ticket system and walk-up requests.
- Affiliate with planning and coordinating installation and implementation of new hardware and/or software according to department standards and procedures.
- Deploy and install devices for end users, including, but not limited to, manufacturing workstations, tablets, scanners, etc.
- Partner with tier I and II Systems Administrators to support critical problems.
- Uphold the enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new and improved guidelines to ensure compatibility and better service.
- Maintain current technical expertise in the rapidly changing technology of microcomputers and utilize state-of-the-art techniques when implementing office automation solutions.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across the company to support effective communication and collaboration.
- Travel to facilities in Madison and Durant, Mississippi as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of PC Support, Help Desk, or similar technical support role
- Proficient in troubleshooting, implementing, and using Windows operating systems (server and workstation) and Microsoft Office applications
- Hands-on knowledge of computer hardware, including the ability to troubleshoot issues and understand how components work together
- A basic understanding of networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot common connectivity issues
- Experience creating and administering user accounts in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Skills
- Technical proficiency with Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong organizational and communication skills
