About the role
HCA Healthcare invests in its team members, committing up to $300 million over three years to support them. As a Systems Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various systems within our facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Works independently or with minimal supervision to perform tasks ranging from routine repairs to emergency service calls.
- Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC/ Electrical systems as directed by Facility Systems Manager and Supervisor.
- Perform preventative maintenance and replace components as necessary.
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and electrical systems.
- Evaluate and coordinate the work of subcontractors to ensure quality and performance of contract requirements.
- Manage and control systems components as needed.
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as assigned, including:
- Modular furniture systems installation and relocation
- Carpentry and painting tasks
- Building services equipment inspection and repair
- Office furniture setup and configuration
- Emergency response and customer service
Job Requirements
- 3-7 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or technical training
- Recognized trade school technical training certification as an electrician and/or HVAC technician
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments
- Able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
- Overtime and weekend work is expected
- This is an 8 AM - 5 PM position
- Mandatory 6-week on-call rotation
