About the role

HCA Healthcare invests in its team members, committing up to $300 million over three years to support them. As a Systems Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various systems within our facilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works independently or with minimal supervision to perform tasks ranging from routine repairs to emergency service calls.
  • Diagnose, repair, and service HVAC/ Electrical systems as directed by Facility Systems Manager and Supervisor.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and replace components as necessary.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Evaluate and coordinate the work of subcontractors to ensure quality and performance of contract requirements.
  • Manage and control systems components as needed.
  • Assist with other maintenance tasks as assigned, including:
    • Modular furniture systems installation and relocation
    • Carpentry and painting tasks
    • Building services equipment inspection and repair
    • Office furniture setup and configuration
    • Emergency response and customer service

Job Requirements

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or technical training
  • Recognized trade school technical training certification as an electrician and/or HVAC technician
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
  • Overtime and weekend work is expected
  • This is an 8 AM - 5 PM position
  • Mandatory 6-week on-call rotation
