Systems Support Technician I, IT

About the role

Olympic Medical Center is located on the beautiful North Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. The area offers a variety of recreational activities including hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, and cycling. It's also close to major cities like Seattle and Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Information Technology team in managing helpdesk operations and data, voice, image, and video network systems.
• Supports and maintains these systems at appropriate service levels.
• Provides technical guidance in implementing, supporting, and training IT and other OMC staff on telecommunications and network systems.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience of basic understanding of both WANs and LANs is preferred.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred (equivalent experience and training may be considered).

Skills

• Basic understanding of WANs and LANs.
• Technical telecommunications and network proficiency.
• Ability to provide guidance and training to IT and other OMC staff.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.54 - $37.53 per hour.

Schedule

The position is full-time and works days.
