Systems Sales Engineer
About the role
The Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team at Nutanix is a dynamic and customer-focused group of 800+ technical sales professionals located primarily in Atlanta. This team thrives on collaboration and innovation, working closely with customers to identify and address their business challenges through tailored technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Congduct discovery workshops to understand customer business challenges and present tailored Nutanix solutions.
- Articulate and demonstrate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to customers and prospects.
- Configure and size Nutanix solutions according to customer requirements.
- Drive customer adoption within designated accounts through leveraging available programs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, serving as a trusted technical advisor.
- Collaborate with sales counterparts to develop account plans and solutions proposals.
- Gather and communicate customer feedback for improvement within the Nutanix ecosystem.
- Ensure successful execution of technical evaluations (POCs) to drive deal success.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects with detailed action plans
- Advanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertise
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb servers for proof of concept execution

Pay
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
