Systems Sales Consultant
Primary Responsibilities
- Investigate and uncover new opportunities for the sale of fire alarm systems
- Engage in sales activity including:
- Calling on electrical contractors, general contractors, property owners, portfolio managers, local business owners, etc.
- Calling on existing customer base
- Calling on electrical engineers and architects
- Following up on company provided leads
- Utilizing and following up with online lead services
- Following up on self-generated leads
- Goal is to close sales of company approved equipment/services ensuring that the estimate meets the project specification and adheres to AFA pricing guidelines
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of sales experience, preferably in the commercial development industry
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems
- 7+ years of experience establishing a client base
- Proven successful history of relationship development, lead generation, and selling design concepts/ideas
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven history of sales success: Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Experience building a network of business relationships: Ability to create sales opportunities by working with A&D (Architecture & Design), real estate, and construction companies
- Innovative self-starter: Confidence and ability to represent Pavion professionally and ethically to gain high levels of confidence
- Excellent problem-solving skills: Strong meeting facilitation skills
- Ability to lead change: Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment effectively
- Bachelor's degree
- NICET certification a plus
Pay
Salary Range: $87K to $122K plus uncapped commissions
