Systems Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintenance: Assist in maintaining operational documentation, procedures, and standards.
• Support and maintain on-time delivery of user and client deliverables.
• Maintain change processes for operational review and approval.
• Review production turnover documentation to ensure requirements and schedules are met.
• Aid in providing info and deliverables for IT Audits.
• System and Software Support: Support automation processes and software.
• Support TLMS software and all tape management issues.
• Understand and Support the use of Splunk.
• Technical: Provide 24x7 technical support.
• Support monitoring responsibilities for operational alerts.
• Meet all service level objectives associated with production alerts and failures.
• Aid in job scheduling for both mainframe and distributed platforms.
• Conduct 1st level problem determination, resolution, and documentation.
• Evaluate and test software to support system upgrades or processing adjustments.

Requirements

• Education & Qualifications: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or Business degree with related work experience. 2-5+ years of data processing experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with standard desktop tools, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
• Familiarity with batch scheduler tools (AutoSys, RunMyJobs, iZws, CA-7, etc).
• Familiarity with AutoOps, IBM Content Manager and ServiceNow.
• Fast learner with very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter/motivated.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
• ITIL Foundation Certification (not mandatory but a plus).
• Experience in using Industry tools like ServiceNow for tracking Incidents and Problems (not mandatory but a plus).

Qualifications

Benefits

Base salary: $80,000 - $95,000

Annual target bonus

Total rewards package includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing.
