Functions & Responsibilities
- Design and Programming of SCADA Systems
- Design and Programming of PLC-based control systems
- Computer Aided Drafting in AutoCAD
- Point to Point Wiring Diagrams
- Assist engineering with control wiring and control concepts
- Maintaining SCADA systems in the field
- Design and Programming of SCADA Systems
- Experience with Wonderware and Ignition is a plus
- Design and Programming of PLC-based control systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley is a plus
- Configuring Third-Party Software Systems for Power Applications
- Project Budgeting
- Utilize basic engineering principles and practical design solutions
- Aid in the development and review of custom designs and sequences
- Aid with Equipment Deliveries
- Work with Clients, Sales People, Managers, and Engineers to coordinate project designs
- Work with sub-consultant(s) to coordinate trades
- Participate in an on-call schedule rotation
- Attend job meetings & coordinate activities as required
- Attend training as requested to further enhance your duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Ability to work an on-call schedule
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding initiative, a well-organized and strong sense of responsibility
- Excellent computer knowledge and advanced skills using Microsoft Office applications are required
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related major (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in a systems integration role or 2+ years experience as a Controls Designer
- Licenses & Certifications: Driver's License required
