Systems Integrator
Location: Reston, Virginia (Onsite)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
About the role
We are seeking a Systems Integrator to support, integrate, and maintain the infrastructure for a government financial management platform. This role focuses on Linux-based environments, Kubernetes platforms, infrastructure support, security maintenance, and system modernization. You will collaborate with a small team of systems administrators to ensure systems remain secure, operational, and properly integrated.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Linux-based server environments.
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Analyze and resolve infrastructure issues involving servers, storage, networking, and system connectivity.
- Support the integration of applications and infrastructure components across the environment.
- Apply security patches, operating system updates, and configuration changes.
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, modernization initiatives, and system enhancements.
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of system administrators and other project personnel.
- Support security and compliance requirements within a secure government environment.
- Utilize automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible where applicable.
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration or system integration.
- Experience with Linux and Kubernetes is required.
- Security+ certification is required.
- Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week in Reston.
- Strong communication and user interaction skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Proficiency with Ansible for process automation.
- Knowledge of CGI Momentum.
Work Environment
This position requires working 100% onsite in Reston, Virginia. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours.
