Systems Integration Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

The Systems Integration Engineer will support a lab environment, providing technical support for customers developing and testing experiments. This position supports one of our government clients in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, develop, and integrate prototype applications for technical evaluation.
• Support customers in developing and testing experiments.
• Provide technical assistance in a lab environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience.
• Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field degree.
• IAT-I certification, such as Security + CE.
• Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS.

Pay

$128,000 - $143,000 a year
