Responsibilities
- Defines, Documents, and maintains consistent architecture and technical approaches to web-based development projects.
- This includes the use of full-stack technologies used to deliver the solution, from relational databases to web services to front-end code and HTML.
- Led, participates, and performs in code, environment, and design reviews to ensure quality work.
- Analyzes the impact of change requests on web architecture and projects.
- Recommends new solutions, architecture, technology, and software.
- Designs solution architecture for platforms, products, software and integrations.
- Is a subject matter expert in several development frameworks such as Cold Fusion, Java, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, XML, AEM, and MuleSoft.
- Is highly skilled in several developmental and web programming frameworks including Mulesoft, PHP, .NET, Java, Python, Javascript, XML, HTML, CSS, and XSLT, etc.
- Works with a variety of database systems including MySQL and Oracle.
- Works with clients as well as internal development, project management, user experience, server engineering, and quality assurance teams to create integration solutions specific to higher education business workflows.
- Documents, diagrams, and approves design solutions.
- Escalates and responds to emergencies and urgent issues with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
- Provides on-call support for emergencies and outages.
- Works closely with other internal teams to define and maintain the infrastructure necessary to support clients.
- Serves as a technical expert and provides guidance to less experienced staff.
