- Lead system integration testing to verify interoperability and performance across distributed systems.
- Aid in resolving technical issues related to data flows, interfaces, and system interoperability.
- Update and maintain architecture and integration artifacts, including operational views (OVs), system views (SVs), interface diagrams, and related documentation.
- Develop a deep understanding of system inputs, outputs, data requirements, and message formats to ensure accurate integration.
- Validate interoperability and data exchanges across systems, ensuring consistency with interface control documents and data models.
- Support sprint demonstrations, integration events, and technical reviews by preparing and presenting technical content.
- Maintain an overall understanding of the integrated modeling and simulation solution and how assigned systems fit within the broader architecture.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data flows and system interfaces to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Cook across multiple technical teams to drive resolution of integration and interoperability challenges.
- Analyze network latency, bandwidth, and message timing within distributed environments to optimize system performance.
- Design and secure RESTful APIs at scale, including managing versioning and integration patterns.
- Develop and validate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and associated data models.
- Apply knowledge of simulation gateways, protocols, and data distribution services to support system integration.
- Ensure compliance with relevant federal and NATO data governance standards in data exchanges and system interfaces.
- Document integration approaches, decisions, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in and contribute to modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integrated systems.
