Systems Installer I (Lighting Controls)

About the role

The Systems Installer will be responsible to complete small job installation, this position is an entry-level to progress into becoming a Systems Specialist requiring a commitment to learning on the job as well spend time studying building control systems.

Responsibilities

• Completes installations of control components following the scope and/or the job submittals
• Interacts with customers, service technicians, warehouse, and various other staff
• Makes necessary changes to Controls System as needed or requested
• Assist in the parts ordering process
• Conducts extensive self-study (reading, research, and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in the company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company
• Compiles job documentation, such as certificate of completion, customer training form, training certificates, and punch lists

Requirements

• Vocational School four-year program graduate or an Associates degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or similar field a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in servicing electronic control and lighting equipment
• The ability to coordinate the work of others on multiple job sites is a plus
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts in an ethical and professional manner
• Have the ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid California state motor vehicle license with a safe driving record

Pay

$22-$28/hr. DOE.
