About the role
The Stormbreaker Operations team at Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated Software Systems Engineer to lead projects pertaining to software testing and transition. This role requires a strong background in Systems Integration and Test engineering, with an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects pertaining to software testing and transition
- Ensure that schedules, activities, requirements, and resources are properly coordinated
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
- Coordinate and conduct segment level and multi-segment testing
- Define test requirements and system transition procedures
- Develop, write, and issue test documents
- Coordinate and schedule system resources to support testing
- Conduct test and operational demo planning
- Chair or participate in Test Status Meetings
- Support integration and plan of future deliveries and systems
- Support system anomalies as required
- Coordinate and support off-hours testing for associated projects
Qualifications
- Experience performing Systems Integration and Test engineering
- Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance required for consideration
- Experienced with evaluating/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
- Experienced with testing methodology of complex information systems as well as software problem reporting and configuration management tools
- Desired Skills: Software Systems risk analysis experience, Requirements verification experience, Prior Customer / Mission experience, Stormbreaker experience including knowledge of Stormbreaker mission software desired, Experience with Agile Software Processes in an O&M environment
